hello!
i'm extremely new to this website and i'm having a bit of trouble navigating through it. sorry if i'm making a new pole on something i shouldnt be but i didnt know where else to post it!!
anyway, i have a question about making my character. could my character, instead of bend, do voodoo? i know the first thing that probably pops into your head is 'urgh, he wants to be a god mod' or something, but there really is more to voodoo than just KILLING.
i totally agree that if my character were to do voodoo, killing powers would be too powerful. but voodoo is about more than that. voodoo is about fortune telling, herbal properties, dream interpreting, voodoo doll spell casting, and some spell casting.
i as a real person do practice voodoo, and could go into great depth in posts about how i cast a spell or something.
so in all honesty, i AGREE that if my character did do voodoo, they should not be able to kill/injure people so severly. i cannot emphasize that enough!!
and yes, i understand that this may fall under the realm of 'not one of the four bendings' but i ask YOU to understand that it really falls closer to the fortune teller realm.
to sum up: my character should not be able to really kill/injure anyone THAT easilly, voodoo really falls under the realm of fortune telling (even though it is a little different), and the format of this website slightly confuses me!
