"Very good Ziya." Master Aroon said as Ziya had just finished learning the new move. She had been able to concentrate much better after Abhaya had left the sparing circle. I wonder where she went, Ziya thought to herself. "A little more practice and it will be perfect. Jie, it's your turn to perform the technique." Jie was the newest student in Ziya's intermediate class. He was actually turning out to be a real natural at water bending. Today they were perfecting how to bend steam very compactly. Steam was the most challenging form of water to bend because it was so loose and airy. After Jie went Akita. "You all have come along very well in your training." Master Aroon commented after Akita had performed his steam stream. "I think next time you all come you might need an assessment of your skills. Out advanced class is low on students." Finally, Ziya thought. Then the class was dismissed. Ziya went to go find Abhaya and quickly picked up her tracks in the snow. As Ziya walked up to the inn she almost bumped right into Abhaya. "Sorry!" Ziya said shyly. "Oh, it's fine. I wasn't looking where I was going either." Well, thought Ziya, she's certainly in a better mood and then noticed that she was wearing a new parka. She must have been irritable from the cold weather since she was used to living in the fire nation. It was a light blue, almost white with a hood hanging to one side. "So hows the culture?" Ziya asked sarcastically. "Oh, you know..." Abhaya trailed off. "Culturey?" Ziya laughed. Wait, Ziya thought, I'm actually laughing with her. "I'm hungry." Abhaya announced just as her stomach growled. "Well come on then! We can go to the nearest food stand and get some fried seal meat! It is so delicious on a cold winter day." Ziya spent most of the day showing Abhaya around the city. They made it all the way around just as day was turning into night. Akita was there practicing some waterbending moves. "Who's that?" Abhaya asked questioningly. "Oh, thats just Akita. He's Cai's sister and he's in my waterbending class. He's probably just here to get ready for our assessment in a couple of days."Ziya answered. "Is he your boyfriend?" Abhaya asked mischievously and nudging Ziya with her elbow. "WHAT?!? Of course not! Akita is just a friend. Nothing more." Ziya said surely. "Oh, okay." Abhaya answered as Akita saw them and ran over. "But it looks like he's wanting that." Abhaya concluded. "How do you know?" Ziya asked puzzled. "I've been lots of places. You could say I'm a people person." she finished saying as Akita reached them. Did Akita really like her, Ziya wondered. "Hey Zi, who's your friend?" He asked nodding at Abhaya. "If you must know," Abhaya said cutting Ziya off, "I am relative of the current fire lord Zuko and master firebender." "Other wise known as Abhaya." Ziya cut in. "Oh so your fire nation huh." he concluded. "Well I got to go get dinner. Moms going to be furious if I'm late again. See you guys later." He said as he ran off. "So Abhaya, I guess I should get home too. See you tomorrow." Ziya said. "Oh, okay. See ya later Zi." she said all manly, imitating Akita. "You be quiet." Ziya scolded as she bended some snow onto Abhaya. Abhaya just melted the snow and said in a more feminine voice, "Okay bye!" As Ziya saw her walk off towards the inn she thought, maybe she's not so bad after all...
