Role Playing References:
I do think the Anime Capsule is the only one I'm really active on at all...
Brief Character History:
Suki was raised on Kyoshi, an island named after Avatar Kyoshi. She began her warrior training at age 8, and has continued training since then. Her past is vague, but she is known to show courage and bravery in any task she is set with.
Brief Character Personality:
She has a tendency to state her emotions, and dislikes biased and sexist people. She willingly puts her heart into combat, and spends most of her time in training. Leading the Kyoshi warriors is not an easy task, but she shows belief in her people to defeat the Fire Nation, or at least to avoid the war. If any harm comes to her village, Suki will be there, ready to fight.
Character Motivation:
Suki draws her strength from the bravery that she holds. She respects her fellow warriors, often sparring with them. She fights to protect others, and to improve her skills.
Character Strengths:
Suki is brave, not to mention bold. Her talent and fighting skills portray her intelligence, and she honors the traditions of Kyoshi.
Character Weakness:
She has a tendency to be outspoken, and combined with her courage, could get her in some trouble.
Character Bending/Warrior Skills:
A warrior of Kyoshi, Suki was trained to fight. She is skilled with two fans, used for both defensive and offensive attacks. Her style of fighting mostly works off her opponents' force, and using that force against them.
Character Talents:
Besides her fighting abilities, it has been shown that she doesn't lack smarts.
Plans to develop the character:
I hope to work with Suki's strengths, and possibly draw out other emotions while still keeping her in character. I wish to let her personality balance of others' (namely Sokka) , and see how her character plays out.
Role Playing Sample:
The sound of shoes gracefully dancing on the floor was almost silent as the warriors lifted their fans in accordance to their leader. Suki breathed steadily, letting the peaceful air guide her movements across the wooden floor. The cotton fabric of her uniform made no protest as her arm lifted to the sky, the golden fan she held tilting with her wrist. Each foot moved in perfect balance through the steps, each hand reaching with co-ordinance through their deadly dance. The small tassels fell against Suki 's face repetitively as her head lowered and lifted with her fans, carefully brushing across the white paint that covered her face. With one swift movement, she brought both hands down, and let her head fall in a stance of honor. The other girls did the same, before waiting for their leader to address a pause in their training.
"Girls," the eyes of the oldest fell on her comrades, the red paste that lined her eyes portraying an admirational look. "We've done good today, but we must not forget what we stand for, and what our skills represent." There was a mummer between the other warriors before looking back to Suki. She paused for an almost dramatic affect before raising her head to the skies. "Remember what we fight for, what we train for. Remember our courage, and respect our honor."
Pushing a few strands of hair from her face, you could almost see the small smile that played on her lips. "Training will resume in one hour, I expect you all to be prepared."
